“Dispute Resolution Coordination” is a neutral-driven process after the parties have reached a divorce or other agreement, when they have either deferred resolution of certain issues between them and/or they have a number of implementation matters in which they anticipate problems reaching consensus or efficient completion.
The parties and/or their counsel engage a private dispute resolution professional to monitor, mediate and where required, arbitrate (decide), such matters between the parties, eliminating stalemate and repeated trips to court for litigated enforcement. We will work with parties alone or teamed with their lawyers. While we do not perform “parent coordination” services, we will address parenting plan issues as appropriate as dispute resolution coordinators. By contract, we will commit to hourly cost and timeliness of binding decisions that we make as arbitrators in the context of dispute resolution coordination work.
